Judo in Education
Judo club runs each year in March Judo in Education come in for 6 weeks during lunchhours to offer coaching to our budding stars.
One of our children is now representing Merseyside after starting Judo lessons here at school with 'Judo in Education'. He loved judo so much at school that he started Judo at Sutton High School in the evenings and now goes there 3 evenings per week.
For his first competition, he was weighed to put him into the correct group and even though it was his first competition he won 3 out of 3 fights to win the gold medal. He has won several awards since then and is representing his club SKK in the Lancashire League. He also represents Merseyside.
