15 Feb 2006 - Healthy Schools Awards

Mrs Morten and Ms Knapper presented details of how the school supports Healthy Eating through our Fruit Scheme, Healthier option school meals, Curriculum Topics and Munch Box Tuckshop. The Healthy Awards Team were impressed with the range of initiatives taking place in the school.

The Dental Health Team have also been impressed with the drop in the levels of tooth decay for children attending our school in the past few years.

We are still waiting to see if any of our apple entries - see opposite have been successful in the national 'Le Crunch' challenge which raised awareness of the health benefits of eating apples as part of five a day.
